Alley of Martyrs

The Alley of Martyrs in Baku is a memorial site where victims of tragic events such as "Black January" and the First Karabakh War are buried. This place also contains an unmarked mass grave where the bodies of unidentified fallen soldiers are interred. Previously, this site was a Muslim cemetery where victims of the March 1918 events in Baku were buried. The Alley of Martyrs serves as a place of remembrance and respect for those who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for freedom and independence.
