Attab Fortress. The fort is home to an ancient structure built to protect Mahdhar Shah and the palm plantations. Historical data collected around 1955 indicates that this ancient structure was erected by the Bani Yas tribes during the reign of Sheikh Mohammed bin Shabbut bin Diyab in 1816-1818.
