Haji Sultanali Mosque

Haji Sultanali Mosque, also known as Akhundov Mosque, is one of the historical monuments in the Yasamal district of Baku. It was built in the early 20th century and is located near the "Nizami" metro station. During the reconstruction of the mosque in April 2000, the grave of a Turkish soldier was discovered, which added even more interest to the history of this place. After the completion of restoration work in October 2001, the mosque was opened for visits and use by believers.
