Holy Church of Kyra Faneromeni

A beautiful small church in the square behind Agios Spiridon, where many residents of Corfu prefer to hold their weddings, has a rich history. This church was built by Saint Nikodimos during the Turkish occupation with the aim of bringing refugees from Epirus, who arrived in Corfu, into the church. The exterior of the church was enhanced with an extension to the roof of the turret in 1752, which gave it even more beauty and uniqueness.
