Kemeri Güzelce Aqueduct

Kemeri Güzelce, also known as Kemeri Gözlüce or Kemeri Çebeciköy, is a historical aqueduct located in the Çebeci neighborhood of the Sultangazi district in Istanbul. This magnificent structure stands at a height of 29.5 meters and has an arch length of 155 meters, with 8 arches at the bottom and 11 arches at the top. The walls of the arch vary in thickness, measuring 5.4 meters at the bottom and 2.6 meters at the top, giving it a unique appearance.

The arch was constructed from cut stone and is a work of the renowned architect Sinan. It is currently situated within the Alibeyköy Dam basin and is accessible for exploration during periods when water from the dam's reservoir is drained in the summer season. This magnificent structure has managed to preserve its centuries-old architectural features, making it one of the amazing monuments of history and architecture.
