Manavgat Waterfall

Manavgat is a beautiful waterfall on the Manavgat River in the Antalya Province of Turkey. It is located near the ancient city of Side and just 3 km from the town of Manavgat. The waterfall has a wide flow of water that falls from a low height, creating a magnificent spectacle. During floods, the waterfall disappears under the powerful flow of water, making it even more impressive. 12 km north of the waterfall is the Oymapinar Dam, which is also a popular place to visit. Interestingly, an image of Manavgat can be seen on the reverse side of a 5 lira banknote, which was issued from 1968 to 1983.
