Memorial to the fallen soldiers of the Great Patriotic War in Tyrnyauz

The memorial complex is a place where there are two monuments to the Great Patriotic War, each adorned with a mass grave. One of them is a tall white obelisk with a red star on top, standing on a pedestal and decorated with a sculpted wreath. The obelisk has a plaque with a dedication to the fallen soldiers, and memorial plaques with the names of the fallen soldiers from 1941 to 1945 are installed on both sides. In 1998, another monument was erected next to the obelisk - a stele dedicated to the pilots who died on Mount Elbrus. This green marble stele with photographs and names stands on a high pedestal. Also nearby, another green marble stele is installed with photographs of fallen soldiers who performed their international duty in Afghanistan.
