Monastery of Panagia Platytera

The monastery of the Metropolis of Corfu is an ancient Orthodox male monastery located in the New Town of Corfu, near San Rocco Square (Saroko), on Yuli Andreadi Street. The monastery houses sacred relics and artifacts, including the relics of saints such as Hieromartyr Charalampus, martyrs Polyevkt, Anastasia of Rome, who suffered for Christ in Nicomedia, and others. In addition, ancient items donated to the monastery or created within its walls, such as carved wooden crosses, Gospels, and much more, are also revered here.
