Saint Gevorg Church

Saint Gevorg Church is an ancient Armenian church built in the 6th century on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Sverdlovo. It was reconstructed in the 19th century to preserve its historical significance and was fully restored by 2010 through the efforts of local residents and church leaders. On June 19, 2010, it was reconsecrated by Bishop Sebouh Chouldjian, Primate of the Diocese of Gougark. The event was an important occasion for the local community and celebrated the preservation of this historic monument.
