Sheikh Ibrahim Mosque

Sheikh Ibrahim Mosque is a historical building that was built in the early 15th century in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. It is located in the historical district of Icherisheher, at 25 Asaf Zeynally Street. The mosque was erected by Hadji Amir Shah in 1415/16, during the reign of Shirvanshah Ibrahim I (1382-1417). Above the entrance door of the mosque, a kitabe with carved Arabic inscriptions on stone can be seen, indicating the start date of construction and the architect's name.
