Canal d’Amour Beach

Canal d'Amour in northwestern Corfu is a narrow inlet about 20 meters long, enclosed by rocks. Waves are minimal and the water is warmer than at neighboring beaches. Sea-carved grottoes and unusual formations hide among the cliffs. The channel ends at a sandy beach with loungers and umbrellas, while cafés, tavernas, and nightclubs operate nearby. It can be reached on foot from Sidari Beach or by rented transport, with parking close by. Weekdays are best for avoiding crowds.

Legend says that the rocks of the bay were lovers whom jealous gods turned to stone, creating a heart-shaped inlet. Couples who swim through it together are said to remain in love forever, while single visitors who pass beneath the arch will meet their future partner.
