Church of Saint Christopher

The Church of Saint Christopher (Khristofor) is a historical temple belonging to the Armenian Apostolic Church, located in the village of Agulis (today known as Ashagy Aylis) in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, in the territory of modern Azerbaijan. According to CHW data, the church was completely destroyed by February 3, 2000, as confirmed by an IKONOS satellite image. Not far to the west of the church is a vaulted spring, built of hewn stone in the 17th century, but the name of its builder remains unknown.
