Jermuk Resort

Jermuk is a quiet ski resort on the slopes of Mount Shish in the Vayots Dzor region, about 180 km from Yerevan. It has mild, almost windless winters with stable snow and temperatures around –7 °C. The season lasts from mid-December to the end of March. The ski lift goes up to an altitude of 2450 meters, from where two slopes descend: one for beginners, the other for experienced skiers, with a drop of about 400 meters. There is a cafe at the top, and at the bottom, there are rental services and small hotels where guests are treated to local mineral water.
