Vayots Sar Volcano. Vayots Sar Volcano lies near the chapel on Mount Vayots and is one of the region’s most accessible volcanic sites. Its foot can be reached by ordinary car along the road from the village of Malishka. A spring beside the route provides a possible camping stop. Another spring and, according to local residents, the ruins of a chapel are found inside the crater. Pumice-covered slopes create an unusual landscape. During mountain thunderstorms, vehicles should not be left in exposed areas.
