Kayseri Castle

Kayseri Castle is a historical structure that was built in ancient times and is mentioned on a coin from the reign of Gordian III between 238 and 244 AD. Over time, the castle has undergone many changes and additions, starting from the Romans to the Ottomans. It was expanded and strengthened by various peoples, including the Byzantines, Danes, Seljuks, Dulqadirs, and Karamanids. The castle is located in the city of the same name and consists of inner and outer sections, with a total of 18 towers.
