Levent Mosque

The Levent Mosque, also known as the Afet Yolal Mosque, is a new religious structure that was built in the Levent district of Beşiktaş, Istanbul. It is located on Levent Street, at the intersection of Levent Mektep and Hyacinth Street. This temple was erected at the request of İbrahim Yolal in memory of his daughter Afet Yolal, whom he lost at an early age. The construction of the mosque began in 1945, designed by architect Vasfi Egeli, and was completed in 1954, when it was opened for prayers and worship.
