Masruts Anapat Church

Masruts Anapat is an architectural monument on the eastern edge of Dzoragyugh in Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province. It is a small domed structure, rectangular on the outside and three-lobed within, with four projections at the corners. Its walls are built from roughly dressed stone, while key structural elements—including the dome arches, drum, and dome—use more carefully cut masonry. The southwestern chamber was completely rebuilt, and the dome and cross-arms were roofed with flat rectangular slabs. Although the exact construction date is unknown, its architectural style points to the 9th–10th centuries and the influence of the Syunik school of architecture.
