Monument to the defenders and liberators of Nalchik

The monument was erected in the square near the bus station in 1971 in honor of the liberation of Nalchik from the Nazi invaders by the troops of the 37th Army of the Northern Group of Forces. A T-34-85 tank, which was used in the battles for the city, is mounted on the pedestal. This monument is a reminder of the heroic struggle against the enemy and the memory of those who gave their lives for the freedom of their homeland.
