Perch Proshyan House Museum. The Perch Proshyan House Museum was established in Ashtarak in 1948 in the ancestral home of Armenian classical writer Perch Proshyan (1837–1907). It is a branch of the Charents Museum of Literature and Arts and is listed as a regional historical and cultural monument. Exhibits introduce visitors to the writer’s life and work as well as the period in which he lived.
