Red Church

Kizil Kilise, also known as the Red Church or Sivrihisar Kizil Kilise, is an ancient church that was built in the sixth century in the Guzelyurt district of Aksaray province, Turkey. The church's name comes from the red stone used for its construction. Since 2008, it has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List due to its historical and architectural value. Despite partial destruction, Kizil Kilise continues to attract tourists and researchers from all over the world who wish to learn more about the ancient religious structures of Turkey.
