Tilkiler Cave

Tilkiler Cave, also known as the Tilkiler sinkhole, is located in the Manavgat district of Antalya province in southern Turkey. The cave's name originates from the nearby village of Tilkiler, which is located to its east. The cave was discovered in 1976 during construction work on the Oymapinar Dam, when excavation of the pressure gallery was carried out. The distance from Manavgat to the cave is about 20 km, and the cave's altitude above sea level is 150 meters. Tilkiler Cave is a unique natural site that attracts many tourists and researchers.
