Zorats Karer Megalithic Site. Zorats Karer, also known as Karahunj or Koshun-Dash, is an ancient megalithic complex on a mountain plateau in Armenia’s Syunik Province. It stands at an elevation of 1,770 metres, about three kilometres north of Sisian. The site consists of numerous large standing stones, some with round openings near their tops. It was designated a historical and cultural reserve in 2009.
