Alexander Nevsky Church

The Alexander Nevsky Church in Ganja was built in 1887 and is one of the oldest Orthodox churches in Azerbaijan. It belongs to the deanery of the districts of the Baku diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. Services are held in the church on Saturdays, Sundays, and during the twelve great feasts and major holidays. The church is located in the Nizami district of the city. It is included in the National Register of Historical Monuments of the Azerbaijan Republic. The rector of the church is Priest Bartholomew Sotnikov.
