Church of the Holy Cross. The Church of the Holy Cross, also known as the Kasagh Basilica, is a 4th-century Armenian church in Aparan, Aragatsotn Province. It was built by the princely Gntuni family, rulers of the historic Armenian province of Nig. One of the country’s early Christian churches, it was extensively restored in 1826, when its roof was replaced with a stone structure.
