Green Lake

Green Lake in Georgia, located in the Khulo municipality, is one of the most beautiful lakes in the region. It is situated at an altitude of 2058 meters above sea level, surrounded by coniferous and beech trees, which give the water a greenish hue. The lake's area is only 0.05 km², and its maximum depth reaches 19.4 meters. In spring, the water level rises due to snow and rain, while in winter it decreases. The lake is fed by groundwater and flows underground.

The water in Green Lake is slightly mineralized, clear, and drinkable. Despite this, there are no fish in the lake. However, this does not prevent nature lovers and active recreation enthusiasts from enjoying picnics, camping, and riding pedal boats in this picturesque place.
