Hamidiye Mosque (Yildiz). The Yıldız Hamidiye Mosque, also known as the Yıldız Mosque, was built by order of Sultan Abdul Hamid II between 1884 and 1886 in Istanbul, Turkey. It is located in the Yıldız neighborhood of the Beşiktaş district and is part of the Ottoman Empire. The mosque has a rectangular shape and one minaret.
