Imam Hussein Mosque. The Imam Hussein Mosque, also known as the "Ashumov Mosque", is a historical building in the Yasamal district of Baku, Azerbaijan. It was built in 1896 according to the design of the famous architect Adolf Eichler. In 2001, the mosque was recognized as a monument of local historical and cultural significance by the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan. After restoration work, the mosque continues to serve its believers.
