Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran

The Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, widely known as the Matenadaran, is a research centre in Yerevan. It is one of the world’s largest manuscript repositories and holds the largest collection of ancient Armenian manuscripts.
