Monument to Timbor Malbakhov

The monument to Timbor Malbakhov was erected in a square next to the floral calendar, near the government building of the Republic. This monument was created in 2014 from bronze by sculptor Mikhail Thakumashev. Timbor Malbakhov was the first secretary of the Kabardino-Balkarian regional committee of the CPSU from 1956 to 1985. The monument is made in a fairly realistic style, reflecting the importance and significance of his contribution to the region's history.
