Pervane Mosque

Built in 1262 by the Seljuk vizier Muin al-Din Sulayman Pervane, this madrasa was created in honor of the second conquest of the city. The building has a rectangular shape and is a beautiful example of architecture with two iwans and an open courtyard. The entrance to the madrasa is decorated with a monumental marble door. On both sides of the entrance are rooms in the iwan. In the center of the courtyard stands an octagonal fountain, which adds beauty and sophistication to this remarkable structure.
