Shahdag National Park

Shahdag National Park is one of the largest and most beautiful natural reserves in Azerbaijan. It is located in the north of the country, on the southern slope of the Greater Caucasus Range, near the border with Russia. The park covers an area of 130,508.1 hectares (1,305.081 km²), making it the largest national park in the country. Within the park is Mount Bazarduzu, the highest point in Azerbaijan, which is also the southernmost point of Russia.
