Statue of Tigran Petrosian. The Monument to chess grandmaster Tigran Petrosian was installed in 2006 on the street bearing his name in Yerevan’s Davtashen District. Made from bronze, granite and basalt, it stands five metres high. It is the second monument to Petrosian in the capital; the first was erected in 1989 near the Tigran Petrosian Chess House in Ring Park.
