Yerablur Military Pantheon

Yerablur, whose Armenian name means “three hills,” is a military cemetery on a hill at the western edge of Yerevan. Armenian national heroes are buried here, and since 1988 it has also become the resting place of soldiers who fought in the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. The pantheon is sacred to many Armenians and serves as a memorial to those who died defending their homeland.
