Aggelsky National Park. Aggelsky National Park was founded in 2003 in the territory of Agjabadi and Beylagan regions of Azerbaijan. Its total area is 179.24 km² (783 ha). The park was created on the basis of the Ag-Gel State Reserve and the Ag-Gel State Sanctuary. This park is also known as the "Caspian migratory route" and the "bird paradise". It was included in the UNESCO list of wetlands of international importance.
