Spitak Khach Church

Spitak Khach Church, also known as the "White Cross," is an ancient Armenian monastery located on a hill near the village of Chinarly, south of the town of Hadrut. The village's name derives from its proximity to the monastery, indicating a close relationship between them. Although the exact founding date of the church is unknown, many details suggest the 14th century as its construction period. According to an inscription on the tympanum of the narthex portal, the monastery or its narthex was restored in 1735, confirming its antiquity and historical value.
