Ancient City of Anemurium

Anemurium (Latin: Anemurium) is an ancient city located in the Cilicia region on the Mediterranean coast. The ruins of Anemurium are situated on the western outskirts of the city of Anamur in southern Turkey, in the Mersin Province. The city is located on a cape of the same name, which is the southernmost point of the Anatolian peninsula. Anemurium has a rich history and archaeological finds that allow us to learn more about the life and culture of the ancient inhabitants of this region.
