Ancient City of Kestros

Kastros or Kestros is an ancient city that was located in Cilicia and later in Isauria. It was inhabited during the Roman and Byzantine Empires. Despite the city having a close connection with Cestrus, which was a titular bishopric, its exact location remains unclear. It was possibly a strategically important place with developed trade and culture, attracting many residents and travelers.
