Delikdeniz Bay

Delikdeniz is a secluded bay near Gazipaşa, hidden among cliffs and marked by a natural stone arch. Waves and wind opened the passage through limestone over thousands of years, framing brilliant turquoise water. Rocky shores and banana plantations surround the bay, which locals favour for picnics and photographs. Reaching it from the D400 involves a narrow road toward ancient Antiochia and a steep path, though boats from Alanya also visit. Facilities are minimal apart from a small café near the parking area.

The name literally means “a hole in the sea.” The arch through pinkish rock creates striking underwater light, and the steep cliffs attract adventurous locals who jump directly into the deep turquoise water.
