Dubai Resort

Dubai is a place where the sea meets skyscrapers, and traditions meet the brilliance of modernity. The city grew from a small village by the bay, where in 1833 about 800 settlers from the Bani Yas tribe, led by Sheikh Maktoum bin Buti Al Maktoum, settled. They chose freedom of trade and independence, laying the foundation for the dynasty that rules Dubai today.

Now Dubai is a mix of luxury and adventure: from beaches and fashionable hotels to theme parks like Legoland, sparkling fountains at the foot of the Burj Khalifa, and evening jeep safaris in the desert.

The best time to visit is from October to April, when the heat gives way to mild sunshine and the sea is at a comfortable temperature. At any time of the year, Dubai remains convenient and hospitable, with air-conditioned buildings, convenient transportation, and an atmosphere of endless celebration.
