Erenköy Station Fountain

The Erenköy Station Fountain is a monument located in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul province, Turkey. It was built in 1921 or 1922 in honor of two children, Fahir and Fatma, about whom nothing is known except their names. In 2006, ISKI carried out maintenance and repair work on the fountain, which is made of marble and has two taps. Two epitaphs placed next to the fountain bear the words of İsmail Hakkı Altunbezer, in which he expresses his remembrance of the children and their unknown mother.
