Firuz Agha Mosque

The Firuz Agha Mosque, also known as Firuz Agha Camii, is one of the magnificent examples of 15th-century Ottoman architecture, located in the Fatih district in the historic center of Istanbul, Turkey. This magnificent temple was built by order of Firuz Agha, who was the chief treasurer of Sultan Bayezid II. In the mosque complex, you can see the marble sarcophagus of Firuz Agha, which adds even more historical value to this place. The Firuz Agha Mosque is located on Divan Yolu Street, near other significant landmarks such as the Sultanahmet Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Basilica Cistern.
