Fountain of Sultan Ahmed III

The Fountain of Ahmed III was built in 1728 in the Ottoman Rococo style during the Tulip Period (Lale Devri) under the reign of Sultan Ahmed III. This fountain is located in a large square in front of the Imperial Gate of the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul, Turkey. In the past, during the Ottoman Empire, the fountain was a popular spot for public events and gatherings. The pavilion of the Fountain of Ahmed III was built on the site of the Byzantine fountain of Peraiton, adding historical significance to the location.
