Gharghavank Church

Gharghavank, also known as Zoravor Church, is a ruined Armenian Apostolic church on the outskirts of the village of Zoravan at the foot of Mount Ara in Armenia’s Kotayk Province. It is reached by turning left shortly after a small cemetery before entering the village and following an unpaved road alongside the burial ground. At the fork, the left-hand track continues past the cemetery until the church appears on the hillside to the right. The site has a rich historical and cultural heritage and attracts both tourists and pilgrims.
