Haseki Sultan Mosque

The Haseki Sultan complex (also known as the Hürrem Sultan complex) was built in the 16th century in the Fatih district of Istanbul, Turkey. This complex includes not only a mosque but also various other buildings such as baths, a hospital, a madrasa, and a mausoleum. It was the first project to be designed and built under the direction of the great imperial architect Mimar Sinan, who is considered one of the greatest architects of the Ottoman Empire. The Haseki Sultan complex is an important historical monument and attracts many tourists and pilgrims every year.
