Hellenistic Tower

The five-story tower, located on the northeastern edge of the walls surrounding the city of Uzunkaburç (formerly known as Diokaisareia), measures 16 x 13 meters and stands 23 meters high. No mortar was used in its construction, making it unique. The tower was divided into sections on each floor and served not only as a residence for administrators but also as a refuge for residents in times of danger. Additionally, the city treasury was stored here, making it an even more important structure to protect.
