Khobi Monastery

Khobi Monastery, also known as the Nojikhevi Dormition Monastery, is one of the ancient Orthodox churches in Georgia. It was built in the 13th century and is decorated with carved decorative stone on the outside, and frescoes on the inside. The monastery belonged to the Dadiani princely family, who ruled Megrelia. It housed sacred relics and icons. Today, the monastery is a national cultural monument of Georgia and attracts many pilgrims and tourists with its history and architecture.
