Maiden Monastery

The Maiden Monastery, also known as the Monastery of St. Stephen or Kusanots Monastery, was built by Armenian monks and later transferred to the administration of the Georgian Patriarchate. Located in Tbilisi, this historic monastery is currently known as Kvemo Betlemi, or the Lower Bethlehem Church. To reach the temple from Asatiani Street, you need to ascend a climb and the Betlemi stairs. This place is an important historical monument and attracts many tourists and pilgrims with its beauty and spiritual significance.
