Mount Chaukhi

Chaukhi is a magnificent mountain in Georgia, located on the administrative border of Kazbegi and Dusheti municipalities in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region. This magnificent peak is situated in the North Caucasus, in the upper reaches of the left tributary of the Gudamakeri River - Aragvi, which is called Bakurkhevi. The mountain's elevation above sea level is 3688 meters. Chaukhi is composed of sub-clay and sandstone and features beautiful rocky and bare slopes. Additionally, other magnificent mountains can be found in the Eastern Caucasus, such as the Northern Chaukhi (3842.5 m), Eastern Chaukhi (3644 m), and Western Chaukhi (3496 m).
