Mount Gutanasar. Gutanasar, also spelled Gutansar (Armenian: Գութանասար), is a high, three-peaked volcano in Armenia’s Kotayk Province, in the northwestern Gegham Highlands. It stands only 2.5 kilometres south of the picturesque village of Fantan. Gutanasar is relatively isolated from the other peaks of the Gegham range. It reaches 2,299.6 metres above sea level, with a relative height of about 300 metres, and its summit is covered by a thin alpine meadow.
