Nishancı Mehmed Pasha Mosque

The Nishancı Mehmed Pasha Mosque is located on Günterca Street in the Karagümrük district of Istanbul. This mosque was built between 1584 and 1588 by Mimar Sinan, one of the most famous Turkish architects. Although the mosque is not included in the list of structures built by Mimar Sinan, its ownership is reflected in other sources. According to records, Mimar Sinan died in 1588, and the construction of the mosque was completed the following year. It is also known that in addition to Mimar Sinan, his students, including architect Davut Ağa, worked on the mosque.
